Lisse, Netherlands - 3/24/19- Keukenhof Day Trip

Here our pictures from our morning at Keukenhof Gardens...this place was absolutely nuts. The theme this year was Flower Power and they really went all out on the fields. It's only open from March 21- May 19 so we got there very early before everything was even in super full bloom. We got a preview of the fields would look with a few colors popping up here and there but I would love to see the tulip fields again one day. This place was really like an amusement park for garden lovers. It was also so much to take in at once. Also these are only about half the photos I took - it was so hard to choose. FLOWERS. EVERYWHERE. This place was massive. There was also a petting zoo- an unexpected highlight. I also climbed up a windmill! You really could spend all day here but our eyes (??) were exhausted from soaking it all in.

From wikipedia: Keukenhof, also known as the Garden of Europe, is one of the world's largest flower gardens, situated in Lisse, South Holland, Netherlands. According to the official website for the Keukenhof Park, approximately 7 million flower bulbs are planted annually in the park, which covers an area of 32 hectares
